The Approach

Unapologetically Biblical, Researched, and Educated

1

Listen

Thinking is often done through talking and writing as it puts language to our thoughts. The first part of the process is to hear from you. “The purpose of a man’s heart is like deep waters, but a man of understanding will draw it out.” — Proverbs 20:5

2

Discover Patterns

Together we can discover patterns that have lead you to arrive where you are today. By seeking to understand those patterns, we can evaluate their usefulness and what is an impediment.

3

Create a path

Each person’s story is different and so is their difficulties. Through biblical application, psychological research, and individualized care we can create a path forward.

"That which you most need is found in the place you least wish to look."

— Carl Jung

FAQs

What happens at the first session?

Upon completion of the intake form and counseling agreement which you should bring to the first session, you can expect to be asked about yourself, your immediate situation, and to get to know the counselor. The first session usually takes 2 hours and is a get-to-know-you time between client and counselor.

What should I wear to counseling?

Feel free to dress casually and comfortably as is conducive to having a good conversation. It is encouraged that all our clients be modest so as not to be distracting from the inner work that is our purpose together.

What do I do when I arrive?

Upon arrival at the current location you may come up to the waiting area, or if you prefer more discretion, you may wait in the car and text the counselor that you have arrived where you will receive instruction when it is time for your session.
